Divorce Cases
For divorce cases, we charge on an hourly basis. Our current rate is $350 per hour, and the same rate is applied to the initial consultation. If you decide to retain The Law Office of Michael D. Kaydouh, we will request a retainer based on the complexity of your case. As this retainer approaches depletion, we require subsequent retainers or we will initiate monthly billing. Our attorney-client contract outlines the legal services we are providing on your behalf and the charges for these services. In some cases, such as totally uncontested divorces, we may be able to charge a flat fee and would be happy to discuss that option with you.
Personal Injury
Cases We handle all personal injury cases on a straight contingency basis. If you do not receive anything from the other party or from the insurance company, there are no legal fees. However, clients are responsible for out-of-pocket fees such as filing fees, court 
reporter charges and medical record fees, among others. Legal fees paid to The Law Office of Michael D. Kaydouh come from a percentage of the money we are able to recover on your behalf from your insurance company or the other party.
